melaumThrilling and safe adventures. Our family of 5 aged from 17 yrs to 58 yrs thoroughly enjoyed our two activities booked with Maquique. We booked Canyoning/Rapelling and white water rafting on separate days. Both activities were thrilling and so much fun!! Our whole family loved them. The guides were brilliant, fun and informative and equally everything was very professional and felt very safe. At one point whilst canyoning it started to rain. The guides paused the activity and took us to higher ground to be safe but luckily we were able to carry on when the rain stopped. They also took lots of photos which were shared with us and these were included in the price. 2 very great days out.Posted on Tripadvisor

Christina MMaquique Aventura Set the Standard! Maquique Aventura was hands down one of the best excursions we’ve ever done. From beginning to end, the energy, hospitality, and attention from the guides were incredible. The guides were fun, lively, welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to have us there. They kept the energy high throughout the entire excursion, made us laugh, encouraged us, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe while still making the experience feel adventurous. One thing that especially stood out was how accommodating they were with my fiancée. She has naturally curly hair and needed a larger helmet to fit comfortably. It wasn’t made into an issue at all. They simply found the right helmet for her and even made sure she could comfortably wear her waterproof cap underneath. That small interaction meant a lot because she was able to enjoy the experience without ever feeling like she was an inconvenience. And the canyoning itself?! SO MUCH FUN. Rappelling down waterfalls, getting soaked, climbing through the canyon—it was exactly the type of Costa Rican adventure we were hoping for. We felt safe the entire time without the experience ever feeling overly controlled or rushed. Another huge plus: THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS! The guides took pictures and videos throughout the excursion using their phones and ours. Afterward, they emailed everything to us within minutes. No ridiculous photo package or feeling like you had to pay extra just to have memories from something you already paid to experience. What really makes Maquique special, though, is the people. Their energy completely changes the experience. They weren’t just there to get us through the course—they made sure we were having a genuinely good time. We did another adventure excursion while in La Fortuna afterward, and it honestly made us appreciate Maquique even more. Maquique set the bar extremely high. If you’re visiting La Fortuna and want something that feels adventurous, authentic, welcoming, and like a hell of a good time, BOOK MAQUIQUE AVENTURA. Todo impecable Desde el transporte, súper puntual , el chofer muy amable, hizo la experiencia sensacional desde el minuto 1. Todos los guías nos recibieron de maravilla y transmitieron alegría y energía todo el tiempo. Un 10 para todos ellos!!! Siempre ocupados de la seguridad, las cascadas y tirolesas de lo mejor. Los refrigerios de fruta y bebida delicioso. El rafting súper divertido, también siempre con seguridad, vistas increíbles de vegetación y animales. Lindsay MThe Thrill of a Lifetime in the Arenal Jungle! The Thrill of a Lifetime in the Costa Rican Jungle! This was truly the thrill of a lifetime! Canyoning and rappelling through the middle of the Costa Rican jungle, with the rain pouring down around us, made the experience even more incredible. Our guides were absolutely amazing—we felt safe the entire time, and they encouraged and cheered us on as we rappelled down beautiful waterfalls. From the adventurous drive up the mountain to the final zip ride into the canyon, every part of the experience exceeded our expectations. The scenery was breathtaking, the adrenaline was nonstop, and it was one of those mornings we will never forget. The free photos were such an added bonus and captured moments from what truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We finished the adventure at a local soda with a delicious Costa Rican lunch, which ended up being one of our favorite meals of the entire trip. If you are looking for adventure, incredible scenery, amazing guides, and an experience you’ll be talking about long after you leave Costa Rica, do this! Marie-Elene FeyWir waren heute mit Maquique Adventure beim Canyoning und hatten richtig viel Spaß! Die Tour war super organisiert und eine tolle Mischung aus Action und Natur. Die Guides waren freundlich, professionell und haben uns während der gesamten Tour gut begleitet. Die Landschaft war beeindruckend und das Canyoning selbst hat richtig Spaß gemacht – vor allem die verschiedenen Abseilstellen und Sprünge waren ein echtes Highlight. J KExceptional! One of the trip highlights. Great way to experience the rainforest. Such a great adventure. Super safe and fun. The guides were great company and very experienced. Lunch afterwards is classic Costa Rican food. 🇨🇷 water shoes are definitely recommended. If you drive yourself to the meeting point, be prepared for some narrow, steep, bumpy roads. S LHad a BLAST canyoning with Maquique! The guides were fun, experienced, and made us feel totally safe the entire time. They help control the ropes quite a bit, so even if you are rapelling for the first time you feel totally safe and are never going down too fast. They also take awesome photos and videos that they send you at the end, so you can just totally immerse yourself in the experience. It was such a unique experience to go down all those waterfalls, zipline through the jungle, and trek through the rainforest as rain falls on the canopy above you. Such a memorable experience, that I would definitely do again and definitely would choose Maquique every time!Posted on Google

The meal was an exquisite blend of local flavors that delighted our taste buds and added another layer of enjoyment to our day. Sumit MishraWe got the combo tour and it was amazing. All the guides were helpful and knowledgeable in English whilst also teaching me about “pura vida”. The whole thing was planned out, I was initially worried about food, but they always fed us and it ended with a lunch at the restaurant we parked at. The canyoning was very fun, and don’t worry the guides are there to help you out and keep you from hurting yourself. The rafting was also very fun, the rapids made for an exciting trip. We also saw lots of wildlife like iguanas and sloths!Posted on Google

Crystal MartinAwesome experience! We took our 11 and 15 year old and everyone had a great experience. The guides were so friendly and helpful and clearly love what they do. They made us feel comfortable, especially our youngest child. We also love that photos and video are included and they were great. Pickup and drop off are also included and were excellent. 100% recommend.
